Session Description

Join us for our Intermediate ASL Level 1 class! Building on what you've learned in the beginner classes, this course is tailored for students looking to elevate their ASL skills to a more advanced level. Dive into intricate aspects of the language, gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture, and explore rich storytelling techniques! Content that will be covered includes talking about the weekend, numbers & fingerspelling, advanced ASL grammar, expanded vocabulary, discussing money, ASL storytelling, classifiers, opportunities for peer feedback and achieving real-world fluency! *Knowledge of The ASL Shop’s Beginner Levels 1-4 vocabulary is required in order to register for this course. If you have not taken an ASL Shop course but have previous learning experience, please contact us about taking a skills assessment to gauge whether or not this course will be a good fit for you.
